Precision Casting,
Perfected
The highest-capacity print and casting operation in the southeastern US — built for jewelry professionals who refuse to compromise. From digital file to finished metal, every piece cast with intention.
Built for Makers Who Demand More
Knox is not a volume house. We are a specialty casting operation built for designers, brands, and independent jewelers who require studio-level attention with production-grade consistency.
Every job is managed individually. We combine advanced 3D printing technology with time-tested lost-wax casting methods to deliver results that wholesale operations simply cannot match.
Based in Miami and operating the highest-capacity print and casting operation in the southeastern United States, Knox bridges the gap between prototype workshops and mass-production facilities — giving you the precision of the former with the reliability of the latter.
The Surface Starts
Before the Pour
Most casting houses use investment powder straight from the manufacturer. Knox does not. Every batch of investment material undergoes four additional sieving passes through progressively finer mesh — a proprietary refinement step that eliminates microscopic particulate inconsistencies before the powder ever touches a flask.
The result is a mold interior with a measurably smoother surface. Combined with 25-micron high-resolution 3D printing — the finest layer precision available in jewelry production — this process produces castings with surface definition that competing operations cannot replicate at any price point.
For jewelers, this translates directly to reduced bench time. Less sanding. Less material loss. Less gold removed during finishing. Every tenth of a gram preserved on the bench is margin returned to your bottom line.
Casting quality is not determined at the pour — it is engineered at the powder stage.
End-to-End Production Capabilities
Three core services. One uncompromising standard. Choose the workflow that fits your project — or let us manage the entire pipeline.
3D Printing
Two dedicated print systems running at 25-micron resolution — a plastic resin printer for prototypes and presentation models, and a high-resolution wax printer purpose-built for investment casting.
- Plastic resin printer for prototypes
- High-resolution wax printer for casting
- 25-micron layer resolution on both
- Supports removed & cleaned
Metal Casting
Lost-wax vacuum casting in precious and base metals. Controlled flask temperatures and pour conditions for clean, porosity-free results.
- Gold (10Kâ24K), silver, platinum
- Vacuum-assisted investment casting
- Individual flask management
- Post-cast cleanup included
Print & Cast
The full pipeline — from your digital file to finished cast metal. We print on our dedicated wax system, invest, cast, and clean. You receive production-ready pieces.
- STL to finished metal
- Single point of contact
- Real-time order tracking
- Fastest total turnaround
From File to Finished Piece
A streamlined, transparent production workflow designed so you always know exactly where your project stands.
Submit Your Order
Upload your STL file through our client portal. Select your service type, metal preference, and any special instructions. You will receive a confirmation and PO number immediately.
Instant confirmationFile Review & Preparation
Our team reviews your file for printability and casting feasibility. We check wall thickness, detail resolution, and structural integrity — and flag anything before production begins.
Quality gate3D Printing
Your model is printed at 25-micron resolution — on our plastic resin printer for prototypes, or our dedicated wax printer for casting-ready output. Supports are carefully removed and the piece is cleaned and inspected.
25µm precisionInvestment & Casting
The printed model is invested in a plaster flask, burned out, and cast under vacuum in your chosen metal. Flask temperatures and pour conditions are controlled individually for each job.
Vacuum-assistedCleanup & Delivery
Sprues are cut, the piece is cleaned and inspected against your original file. Once approved by our QC team, your order ships or is available for pickup in Miami.
QC inspectedNo Shortcuts. No Exceptions.
Every order passes through our quality control process before it leaves the workshop. We inspect surface finish, dimensional accuracy, porosity, and structural integrity on every single piece.
Knox operates as a closed-loop production facility. That means your file, your print, your flask, and your casting are handled by the same team from start to finish — no outsourcing, no handoffs, no variability.
Single-Source Production
Every step happens under one roof. No third-party outsourcing, no blind handoffs.
Individual Job Management
Your order is never batched with unrelated work. Each flask is managed on its own terms.
Real-Time Tracking
Monitor your order status through our client portal — from received to printed to cast.
